Notice for players
01Who this page is for
You play on a roleplay server hosted by Mathéo Fourneaux. This page describes ONLY the processing Mathéo Fourneaux is responsible for. The server you play on is operated by someone else, who alone decides what is recorded about you and whom you should contact about it.
02The anti-cheat network
Mathéo Fourneaux keeps a list of sanctions shared between the servers it hosts. It contains technical identifiers (game licence, Discord identifier, IP address, hardware tokens) tied to a sanction issued by a server following a confirmed cheat detection.
Purpose: to stop someone excluded from one server for cheating from immediately reappearing on another. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing fraud (article 6.1.f of regulation 2016/679, recital 47).
Retention: for the duration of the sanction, then 12 mois. After that the entry is deleted.
03Your recourse
A network entry can be wrong. You may contest it: write to contact@novastudio.gg quoting the case number the server gave you. The decision is reviewed by a person, never by an automated process alone, and the sanction can be lifted across the whole network.
If several people share one computer, a hardware identifier can be detached without lifting the sanction on the person concerned.
04Error reports
When Nova's code hits an error while you play, the framework automatically sends Mathéo Fourneaux a technical report. Besides the error itself, it carries the state of the game at that moment: your character's job and grade, the model of the vehicle they are in, the interior and instance they are in, their position rounded to about ten metres, your ping, your screen resolution and your game language.
It carries neither your game licence, nor your Discord identifier, nor your IP address, nor your name: these are not part of the report. The game server strips them before sending; on arrival, the site discards any field that is not in the list above and masks the identifiers it recognises in the error text.
Purpose: to find and fix defects in the software. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the quality of the service (article 6.1.f of regulation 2016/679). These reports are visible only to Mathéo Fourneaux's technical team.
Retention: until an error is dealt with, only its last hundred occurrences are kept. Their details are deleted 30 jours after our team has dealt with it. All that remains afterwards is the error's title, a sample of its message and the number of times it occurred, without the game context that came with them.
05The player counter
To show on its website the number of distinct players welcomed by Nova servers, each server recognises a returning player through a fingerprint of their game licence, computed and kept in that server's database. This fingerprint is salted, specific to each server, and cannot be turned back into the licence without that database: no fingerprint ever leaves it.
Mathéo Fourneaux only receives the total number of distinct players of each server, with no identity, and only displays the sum of these numbers. Purpose: an aggregated attendance statistic. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (article 6.1.f of regulation 2016/679).
Retention: the fingerprint stays in the server's database for as long as the server exists, and disappears with it.
06Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over the data described above. Write to contact@novastudio.gg: we answer within one month.
You may also complain to your national data protection authority if you believe your rights are not respected.
07What this page does not cover
Your character, your in-game money, your messages and the history of your actions on a server belong to that server's operator. Mathéo Fourneaux hosts them on their behalf, without inspecting them, save on that operator's reasoned request and for a duration they set. Contact them for anything concerning those.
